Holiday Contest Winners at OHKC

It’s that time of year when holiday cheer is all around and any excuse to show it is welcome. The employees at OHKC dressed their holiday best (and sometimes ugliest) for daily competitions. Everyone was up for the challenge and the winners are pictured below.

Toys For Tots Donation

In addition to costume contests the week prior to Christmas, the staff at OHKC held daily raffles to raise money for Toys for Tots. This organization’s mission is to collect new unwrapped toys fordistribution to children that wouldn’t otherwise receive toys. The week’s efforts allowed OHKC to donate $2,846 to this wonderfulcharitable cause.

Focus on: Spine

At OHKC, we are lucky enough to have a fellowship trained, board certified spine surgeon: Dr. Andre Jakoi, M.D. Dr. Jakoi specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common spinal injuries and conditions, from muscle strains and vertebral fractures, to more complex issues, like disc herniations and the correction of spinal deformities. Dr. Cowan Receives Additional Sports Qualifications

Recently, Dr. Paul Cowan, M.D., M.P.H., one of our fellowship trained sports medicine orthopedists, obtained a SportsCertificate of Added Qualifications. TheSports CAQ recognizes excellence among physicians whose practice emphasizes expertise in the Sports Medicine field. Congratulations to Dr. Cowan!
