If you have a specific concern that is not addressed, please call our office at (913) 363-2663.
Please carefully review these instructions, as non-compliance may lead to your procedure being canceled or rescheduled.

Insurance & Billing
We will verify your health insurance coverage(s) that may cover some or all of the services to be performed. Orthopedic Health of Kansas City Surgery Center will initiate contact with your insurance carrier to determine your cost-sharing responsibilities. Prior to surgery, someone from the center will contact you with your estimated cost sharing out-of-pocket financial responsibility.
Upon request, a written estimate will be provided to you. This amount is due prior to or on the day of your surgery. Please remember to bring a form of payment with you. We accept checks, major credit cards and care credit. We do not accept cash payments.
For payment plans, financial assistance plans, or charity care discounts please call our office to see if you qualify, prior to the day of surgery: (913) 363-2663.
After surgery, Orthopedic Health of Kansas City Surgery Center will submit your bill to your insurance company on your behalf. Any additional financial responsibilities, above what was given as the estimate, will be the balance billed to the patient.
Orthopedic Health of Kansas Surgery Center’s standard collection policy is to produce and send three statements to patients for their cost sharing amount. If payment is not received within 90 days of date of service, the balance will be turned over to collections.
Note: You will receive a separate bill from your doctor, anesthesiologist, and pathologist (if needed).
