Michael Boin, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained shoulder and elbow specialist. He completed his fellowship at the prestigious NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, where he trained under world-renowned surgeons and gained experience in the most innovative surgical techniques in shoulder and elbow care.

Dr. Boin treats the full spectrum of shoulder and elbow conditions, with special expertise in complex and revision shoulder replacement and rotator cuff surgery. He is a leader in innovation and recently helped design and performed the world’s first ARVIS™ augmented reality–navigated shoulder replacement. 

A recognized educator and thought leader, Dr. Boin has lectured internationally to orthopedic surgeons across the United States, Europe, and Latin America on advanced arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, biologic augmentation, and shoulder arthroplasty. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, textbook chapters, and received multiple awards for his research. Dr. Boin has been named one of the Top 5 Surgeons in Kansas City and one of the Top 3 Orthopedic Surgeons in the Northland. 

Outside of medicine, Dr. Boin enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He stays active training in his home garage gym and is an avid fan of Formula 1, the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals, and New York Rangers.
