John Eggers, M.D. has had fellowship training in total joint revision: surgery performed when joint replacements have worn out, failed, or become infected. He obtained his medical and doctoral degrees from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE and subsequently completed his Orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. John Eggers, M.D. then completed sub-specialty fellowship training, graduating from the Cleveland Clinic Adult Reconstruction Fellowship. He has a specialized focus in preventing total joint arthroplasty infections, writing and he has written and reviewed many publications on the topic. He is a reviewer for multiple publications including the Journal of Arthroplasty and the Journal of Knee Surgery. He accepts transfer of complex hip and knee cases from hospitals.
