Jeffrey Krempec, M.D. comes to Orthopedic Health of Kansas City as a fellowship-trained hip and knee surgeon specializing in joint preservation, resurfacing, replacement, and revision. When joints have developed arthritis, it’s time to get treatment. Dr. Jeff K, M.D. specializes in hip resurfacing and total hip replacement, as well as partial and total knee replacement. Additionally, he has had fellowship training in total joint revisions, which is when joint replacements have worn out, failed, or have become infected.
Dr. Jeff K, M.D. obtained his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI and subsequently completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. He then went on to subspecialty fellowship training, graduating from Washington University Orthopaedics at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He has written several book chapters on joint replacement and hip joint preservation. He accepts transfer of complex hip and knee cases from outlying hospitals without joint replacement expertise.
