Andrew J. Taiber, M.D.
Dr. Andrew J. Taiber, MD is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in trauma, reconstruction, and disorders of the hand, wrist, and elbow. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and completed medical school training at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. Dr. Taiber completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Nebraska. Following this, he completed the Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Taiber is an active member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) and has successfully completed the Subspecialty Certification in Surgery of the Hand (formerly CAQ Hand).
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, and traveling. He is an avid sports fan, especially of the Iowa Hawkeyes, Kansas City Chiefs and Royals.
