Zachary Roberts, M.D.
Zachary Roberts, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University and his medical doctorate from the University of Oklahoma. He completed his internship and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA, and then completed an additional year of fellowship training in orthopedic trauma care at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Following his fellowship, he returned to OU Medical Center, Oklahoma’s only Level 1 trauma center, where, for over 8 years, he held a faculty position with OU College of Medicine and helped teach resident orthopedic surgeons to provide care for patients with traumatic injuries.
His professional memberships include the Orthopedic Trauma Association and AO North America. He is a member of the AO North America faculty, and enjoys the opportunity to help teach young orthopedic surgeons how to provide excellent fracture care.
Dr. Roberts is a happily married father of three. When he is not fixing people or chasing kids, he enjoys boating, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.

I only met with Dr. Roberts a total of 4 times (including the day of my surgery) and for only a brief few minutes at a time. He seems like a nice person and my wrist healed up nicely so I guess that he is a pretty good surgeon as well.Patient Submitted Review

I was in a car accident and was transported to the trauma center at research medical center... Dr Roberts was the orthopedic trauma surgeon on call... You don't get to really interview doctors in those situations.. He was not only a fabulous surgeon but had amazing bedside manner... When you experience trauma... Very knowledgeable & extremely competent! Dr. Roberts was honest, direct and empathic as he delivered is opinion regarding my orthopedic issues. Dr. Zach really has a gift. He repaired my shattered wrist and elbow perfectly. With God's help I have full range of motion, no disability. Then 5 months later I broke the same elbow. I had a bad accident which required immediate surgery. I was rushed to the ER and even though Dr. Roberts had several surgeries to do that day, he was able to fit me in. I’ve had many follow up visits over the past 4 months and he has been nothing but professional and polite. I was unsure if I would be able to walk again but Dr. Roberts gave me that chance.

Dr. Roberts is a GOD send!!! I am able to walk today because of this mans talented skills, knowledge & care!! 5 years ago in a split second my world was instantly changed due to a impaired driver, they didn't think I would live nor walk but this man did everything he could to make it possible that I could and I can to this day!! I hated seeing him leave OKC & go to my home state of MO as I wouldn't get to see him anymore but I will drive to KC just to have him do any & every surgery he can on me.
